Why Keuka College?

Honored by the Past. Proud of the Present. Focused on the Future.

Keuka College was founded in 1890 as a private undergraduate and graduate residential college and is located on the shore of Keuka Lake in New York State’s Finger Lakes region. Throughout our history, our goal has always been “to bring strength to our nation and to help humanity.” We support strong character and intellectual development, and we align education to career goals through our curriculum and consistent modeling of honest and forthright behavior. Our graduates boast significant, real-world experience that impresses employers and graduate schools. We produce well-educated, optimistic, and resourceful people who lead lives of purpose and accomplishment.

Two decades ago, Keuka College was one of the region's first institutions of higher learning to offer degree programs designed specifically for adult students. Today, every course is designed and taught using andragogy — the art and science of helping adults learn.

As a Keuka College student, you'll benefit from this adult-focused learning model as well as a challenging curriculum that's deeply rooted in the liberal arts. Our online degree programs provide course content that you can use immediately in your professional role, and the curriculum is delivered by practicing faculty who are masters in their field and gifted in the art of teaching. Today, Keuka College continues the original mission of founder George Harvey Ball — “to bring strength to our nation and to help humanity” — through combined classroom and experiential learning activities for students of all ages.

Our mission, vision, and values are at the core of who we are and who we want to be. By offering quality online classroom education and experiential learning opportunities, we help you fulfill your desire to make a difference.
